Rowland debunked reports that she and Destiny’s Child pal Michelle Williams serenaded little Blue when the two recently met the 2-week-old. “We all just stared at her,” she smiled. “I just stared at her. She is so beautiful.”

The singer stayed mum on what kind of baby gifts she got the little one. “That’s between me and Blue,” she said. “But you best believe her auntie will have her dressed to impress.”

And yes, Rowland agrees that baby Blue will have some serious skills when it comes to singing. “She was on her dad’s record ["Glory"],” she laughed. “Her first feature is like two days old! So yeah, she’s musical”

A week after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé is enjoying motherhood. She got a visit from her friends Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams who say their fellow Destiny’s Child diva is a natural in her new role.

“She was born to be a mother,” Kelly Rowland told PEOPLE at Saturday’s taping of BET Honors in Washington, D.C. “She’s wonderful.”

Michelle Williams also praised her DC sister. “She has such compassion for people and humanity, period,” said Williams, adding that B and Jay-Z’s daughter is already one of the most stylish babies she’s seen.

But she didn’t expect the busy B to become the first mom of the group. “We were very shocked. We were laughing with each other the other day and she was like, ‘Can y’all believe it? I was the anti—like no children for me,’ and she’s the first one [of us to have a baby],” shared Williams. “So it was so amazing to see her.”

She asked if she could write stuff for the movie, I said yes, great. But I also told her I would make one or two things very classical. Still classicism. But I don’t want Beyoncé to be too classic! She has a superb voice. She could become a new Sarah Vaughan or the next Ella Fitzgerald. She has the same class. I dont know if she knows their music, but I intend to do a good education for the movie!

The Houston-born superstar and her mother designed a T-shirt to raise money for President Obama’s re-election campaign, reports say.

According to The Washington Scene:

(Beyoncé) along with mom Tina Knowles (who heads up the entertainer’s House of Dereon fashion line) designed a t-shirt emblazoned with phrases the commander-in-chief made famous, such as “Yes we can,” and, “I’m in!”
