Beyonce Attends “Thriving Child” by Erica Reid Launch!
Last night(May 8th) after turning many of heads at The Met Gala Beyonce stepped out for the second nite in a row but this time she was not alone, Husband Jay-z, Tina Knowles, & good friend Mary J Blige were also in attendance with her at the launch of the book “Thriving Child” by Erica Reid. The event was hosted by her husband L.A Reid who snapped a few photos as well.
New mom Beyoncé took the night off from changing diapers and escaped to the glamorous Met Gala in New York on Monday. “Entertainment Tonight’s” Nancy O’Dell snagged the only red carpet interview with the World’s Most Beautiful Woman, who wowed in a Givenchy Haute Couture gown.
The 30-year-old singer was beaming as she spoke of her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who was back home with husband Jay-Z and mother Tina Knowles. “I have such a full life,” she gushed. “I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.”
She wants to add more members to her family, but it probably won’t happen anytime soon. “Of course. “I definitely want to have more,” she said. “I don’t know how many. God knows; I don’t know yet.”
If you’re wondering how she got back in shape so quickly, it’s no fluke. “I’ve been working really hard,” said B, who’s been spending time with a trainer. “There are no secrets—discipline.”
Beyoncé will return to the stage for the first time in nearly a year with a series of shows at the $2.4 billion Revel resort over Memorial Day weekend. A fourth show was recently added for Monday, May 28.
This evening(May 7) Beyonce attended the ‘Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations’ Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She Turned Heads With Her stunning sheer Givenchy gown with a purple feathered train following. Beyonce & husband jay-z also attended this event last year which was in honor of designer Alexander McQueen who passed in February of 2010. Enjoy The Photos Below.

Pop star Beyonce is adding a fourth concert at Atlantic City’s Revel casino resort, this one on May 28th.
The Grammy-winner’s first three concerts from Friday to Sunday of Memorial Day weekend sold out in less than 60 seconds after going on sale to the general public. Fan club members got first dibs.
They’ll also get first crack at tickets for the fourth concert on Friday, with any remaining seats going on sale to the public Monday morning through Ticketmaster.
The concerts will be one of the highlights of the casino’s grand opening weekend. It has been open since April 2 in what it considers a preview.
New figures released today by online retailer Littlewoods.com show sales of bathing suits have soared in the past two weeks, as Beyonce’s incredible post-baby beach body inspires British women. Since the ‘all the single ladies’ singer was photographed earlier this month wearing a flattering figure hugging swimming costume whilst holidaying with husband Jay-Z in St Barts, sales have rocketed as fans of the superstar look to mimic her amazing beach look.
Littlewoods.com has seen a huge increase in swimming costume sales in the past two weeks, with purchases up by a staggering 102%. The more traditional beach outfits are proving so popular that swimming costumes are currently outselling bikinis for the first time in 10 years!
Gary Kibble, Brand Director at Littlewoods.com said, “Swimwear has always sold well at Littlewoods, particularly with women at this time of year with summer just around the corner. However, we have seen a massive uplift in sales of the more traditional swimming costumes compared to bikinis over the past two weeks since Beyonce was pictured on holiday in the Caribbean.

It’s great to see such a positive role model like Beyonce having this kind of effect and we expect to see this trend continuing throughout the coming months as the weather becomes warmer and more families hit the beach.”

Beyonce to win writing award from the NY Association of Black Journalists!(UPDATED)
Beyonce Knowles can add yet another title to her already dazzling resume – Award-Winning Journalist.
The mogul mama, recently named People magazine’s Most Beautiful woman of 2012, is set to win a writing award from the New York Association of Black Journalists on May 15.
The sexy songstress will be singled out for her July 2011 Essence magazine cover story “Eat, Play, Love,” which chronicled her nine-month hiatus from the biz in 2010.
She wrote about “savoring” the “tiny moments,” traveling with hubby Jay-Z, discovering her love of artichokes, jumping from yachts and going undercover as a Harajuku girl in Tokyo nightclubs.
“I’m grateful for the time I gave myself to breathe,” she wrote, crediting the personal retreat with a “creative reawakening.”
The Grammy winner, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January, doesn’t mention the miscarriage Jay-Z revealed in a recent song.
“She’s a real writer. We had to edit her, but everyone gets edited except Toni Morrison,” Essence entertainment director Cori Murray told The News.
